Texas High School Basketball - Wellman-Union knocked off by Meadow

The Meadow Broncos basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Wellman-Union Wildcats to 45 in the Broncos non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Broncos now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Whiteface for a 1A Region I District 7 contest on Tuesday, December 12. Meadow will battle a Antelopes team coming off a 45-42 non-league loss to Newcastle (Newcastle, TX). The Antelopes record now stands at 12-3.

The Wildcats (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Rotan (Rotan, TX). The Yellowhammers enter the non-league contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Rotan ran past Moran (Moran, TX), 63-11, in a non-league contest.
