In Saturday's non-league match, the host West Vikings basketball team scored a tight 47-40 triumph over the Ridgeview Wolf Pack.

In their next game, the Vikings meet the Garces Memorial Rams (Bakersfield, CA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, December 13. West will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Rams enter the match with a 2-8 record after their 56-14 non-league loss to Orcutt Academy (Orcutt, CA).
