With the victory, San Augustine improves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Wolves host Broaddus (Broaddus, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 2A Region III District 24 challenge on Friday, December 15. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Broaddus won 58-55 in their recent non-league challenge against LaPoynor (LaRue, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the West Rusk Raiders (New London, TX) in a 3A Region II District 16 challenge, on Friday, December 15. Waskom will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 56-25 league win over Elysian Fields (Elysian Fields, TX).
