The Pomfret School Griffins edged the visiting Austin Prep Cougars ice hockey squad by a count of 3-2 in Saturday's league bout.

With the victory, Pomfret School moves its record to 1-4 on the season. The Griffins travel to Choate Rosemary Hall School (Wallingford, CT) to play the Wild Boars in a battle on Wednesday, December 13. The Wild Boars come into the battle with a record of 3-1. Choate Rosemary Hall School lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Noble & Greenough (Dedham, MA)

The Cougars (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Governor's Academy (Byfield, MA). The Governors come into the battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Governor's Academy nipped Cushing Academy (Ashburnham, MA), 4-1, in a league battle.
