Chapin Eagles (Chapin, SC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lexington Wildcats (Lexington, SC), 40-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Chapin upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Westwood (Blythewood, SC) to play the Redhawks in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Redhawks go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Westwood won 56-39 in their recent non-league bout against Spring Valley (Columbia, SC)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 68-25 non-league win over Greenbrier (Evans, GA).
