In Monday's non-league contest, the host Abingdon Falcons basketball team scored a good 75-64 triumph over the Pulaski County Cougars.
The Falcons (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA). The Rebels go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Patrick Henry topped Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA), 70-44, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 13. Pulaski County will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record.
