Arizona High School Basketball - Miami thwarts Apache Junction

December 9, 2024: Miami, AZ 85539

The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Miami Vandals (Miami, AZ) and the visiting Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ), observed Miami's basketball team knock off Apache Junction by a score of 60-51.

The Vandals (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Alchesay (Whiteriver, AZ). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Alchesay was knocked off by Chinle (Chinle, AZ), 45-43, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Prospectors encounter the Palo Verde Titans (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Apache Junction will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 76-49 non-league win over The Gregory School (Tucson, AZ).
