Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Greater Johnstown triumphant over Bishop McCort

December 9, 2024: Johnstown, PA 15902

The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Greater Johnstown Trojans (Johnstown, PA) and the visiting Bishop McCort Crushers (Johnstown, PA), observed Greater Johnstown's basketball team overwhelm Bishop McCort by a score of 89-51.

The Trojans (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA). The Red Devils come into the Laurel Highlands challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Central Cambria trounced Richland (Johnstown, PA), 69-66, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Crushers battle the Bishop Carroll Huskies (Ebensburg, PA) in a Laurel Highlands challenge, on Thursday, December 12. Bishop McCort will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 51-38 league win over Bedford (Bedford, PA).
