Eureka Tornadoes (Eureka, KS) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Bluestem Lions (Leon, KS), 47-27 in a league match.

With the victory, Eureka advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Tornadoes travel to Yates Center (Yates Center, KS) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Thursday, December 12. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 1-1. Yates Center won 39-36 in their recent non-league match against Cherryvale (Cherryvale, KS)

The Lions now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fredonia for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17.
