The Cannon County Lions basketball team scored 68 points and limited the host DeKalb County Tigers to 55 in the Lions non-league triumph on Monday.

The Lions now have a 7-3 record. They play next when they host White County for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. Cannon County will confront a Warriors team coming off a 54-50 non-league win over Smith County (Carthage, TN). The Warriors record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, DeKalb County falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Warren County (McMinnville, TN) to confront the Pioneers & Lady Pioneers in a non-league game on Friday, December 13. The Pioneers & Lady Pioneers go into the game with a record of 3-2. Warren County won 57-49 in their recent non-league game against Stewarts Creek (Smyrna, TN)
