In Monday's league contest, the host Chester Hambletonians basketball team scored a close 50-44 triumph over the Sullivan West Bulldogs.

The Hambletonians (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Tri-Valley (Grahamsville, NY). The Bears go into the Section 9 Orange County IV contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Tri-Valley nipped Fallsburg (Fallsburg, NY), 42-20, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Tri-Valley Bears (Grahamsville, NY) in a Section 9 Orange County IV contest, on Wednesday, December 18. Sullivan West will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record.
