Maryland High School Basketball - Holly Grove Christian can't hold off Chincoteague

Chincoteague Ponies (Chincoteague, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Holly Grove Christian Eagles (Westover, MD), 52-47 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Chincoteague upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Ponies travel to Worcester Prep (Berlin, MD) to face the Mallards in a non-league match on Friday, December 13. The Mallards enter the match with a record of 2-0.

The Eagles now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arcadia for a non-league match on Monday, December 16.
