The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the East Meadow Jets (East Meadow, NY) and the host Herricks Highlanders (New Hyde Park, NY), observed East Meadow's basketball team overwhelm Herricks by a score of 75-49.

The Jets (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Holy Trinity (Hicksville, NY). The Titans come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Holy Trinity trounced Knox (St. James, NY), 62-52, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Highlanders battle the Farmingdale Dalers (Farmingdale, NY) in a Section 8 AA-2 challenge, on Wednesday, December 18. Herricks will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
