The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Fletcher Academy Falcons (Raleigh, NC) and the visiting LifeSpring Academy Lions (Clayton, NC), observed Fletcher Academy's basketball team overcome LifeSpring Academy by a margin of 50-38.

The Falcons (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Heritage Leadership Academy (Apex, NC). The Fletchers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last bout, Heritage Leadership Academy fell by Non Varsity Opponent (, ), 62-39, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, LifeSpring Academy falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Father Capodanno (Vass, NC) to play the Grunts in a Freelance bout on Thursday, December 12. The Grunts go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Father Capodanno lost 57-21 in their recent non-league bout against The O'Neal School (Southern Pines, NC)
