The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Galesburg Christian Lions (Galesburg, IL) and the visiting Morning Star Academy Mustangs (Bettendorf, IA), observed Galesburg Christian's basketball team knock off Morning Star Academy by a score of 62-46.

The Lions (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Tri-State Christian (Dubuque, IA). The Huskies come into the Northern Illinois Christian challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Tri-State Christian was knocked off by Unity Christian (Fulton, IL), 46-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Pathway Christian Panthers (Kalona, IA) in a Northern Illinois Christian challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Morning Star Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 67-37 league loss to Quad Cities Christian (Moline, IL).
