Next, the Granite Diggers clash with the Washburn Castle Guards (Washburn, WI) in a Northern Lights test, on Thursday, December 12. Mellen will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Castle Guards come into the test with a 2-1 record after their 80-56 league win over Lac Courte Oreilles (Hayward, WI).

The Cardinals (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Mercer (Mercer, WI). The Tigers come into the Northern Lights test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Mercer was overwhelmed by Solon Springs (Solon Springs, WI), 64-17, in a league test.
