Washington High School Basketball - Burlington-Edison thwarts Squalicum

The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Burlington-Edison Tigers (Burlington, WA) and the visiting Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA), observed Burlington-Edison's basketball team knock off Squalicum by a score of 66-46.
The Tigers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Meridian (Bellingham, WA). The Trojans come into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Meridian prevailed over Sehome (Bellingham, WA), 55-51, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Storm encounter the Lynden Lions (Lynden, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge, on Thursday, December 12. Squalicum will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 76-9 league win over Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA).
