In Monday's non-league test, the Discovery Charter School Trailblazers (Bahama, NC) basketball squad trounced the host Henderson Collegiate Pride (Henderson, NC), by a final score of 42-12.

Next, the Trailblazers clash with the Mount Zion Christian Academy Mighty Warriors (Durham, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 13. Discovery Charter School will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Mighty Warriors come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 0-0 non-league Wayne Preparatory Academy (Goldsboro, NC).

The Pride (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Excelsior Classical Academy (Durham, NC). The Flying Lions come into the 1A Triangle North test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Excelsior Classical Academy bounced Hawbridge (Graham, NC), 44-15, in a non-league test.
