Virginia High School Basketball - East Rockingham overwhelms Rockbridge County

The East Rockingham Eagles basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host Rockbridge County Wildcats to 42 in the Eagles league triumph on Monday.
The Eagles now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Madison County for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. East Rockingham will confront a Mountaineers team coming off a 39-22 non-league loss to William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Rockbridge County falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Thursday, December 12. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 5-0. Stuarts Draft won 42-38 in their recent non-league game against Alleghany (Covington, VA)
