Peoples Baptist Academy Knights (McDonough, GA) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Kings Way Christian School Crusaders (Douglasville, GA), 28-24 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Peoples Baptist Academy advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Knights host Appling Christian Academy (Baxley, GA) to meet the Eagles in a GCAA Region IV match on Friday, December 13. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 0-4.

The Crusaders now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Philadelphia Christian School for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. Kings Way Christian School will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 43-36 non-league win over Shenandoah Baptist Academy (Cleveland, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 3-5.
