In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Walnut Grove Warriors basketball team scored a close 18-17 triumph over the Union Grove Wolverines.
The Warriors (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Alcovy (Covington, GA). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record.
In their next game, the Wolverines battle the Kell Longhorns (Marietta, GA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Union Grove will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record.
