In Monday's league outing, the host Strayhorn Mustangs soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Vardaman Rams.
The Mustangs (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against Senatobia (Senatobia, MS). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Senatobia got by Winona (Winona, MS), 5-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Rams play the Independence Wildcats (Independence, MS) in a Class 1 Region 2 outing, on Tuesday, December 10. Vardaman will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the outing with a 0-6 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Winona (Winona, MS).
