In Monday's non-league contest, the host St. Thomas More Academy Chancellors basketball team scored a good 40-31 triumph over the American Leadership Academy-Johnston Patriots.
The Chancellors (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Thales Academy Apex (Apex, NC). The Titans go into the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Thales Academy Apex was topped by Cary Academy (Cary, NC), 64-27, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, December 11. American Leadership Academy-Johnston will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 3-4 record after their 46-33 non-league loss to Eno River Academy (Hillsborough, NC).
