The Mount Dora Hurricanes basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting East Ridge Knights to 40 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Monday.

The Hurricanes now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Freedom for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 11. Mount Dora will play a Patriots team coming off a 57-44 non-league win over Cornerstone Charter Academy (Belle Isle, FL). The Patriots record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, East Ridge falls to 2-1 on the season. The Knights host South Lake (Groveland, FL) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, December 13. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 4-3.
