In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Eastern Wayne Warriors basketball team scored a big 83-33 win over the West Craven Eagles.
The Warriors (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against North Pitt (Bethel, NC). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, North Pitt smashed Goldsboro (Goldsboro, NC), 46-45, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Havelock Rams (Havelock, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, December 11. West Craven will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
