In Monday's non-league contest, the host Oxford Prep Griffins basketball team scored a good 47-38 triumph over the Roxboro Community Bulldogs.
The Griffins (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against River Mill (Graham, NC). The Jaguars go into the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, River Mill was topped by Central Carolina Academy (Sanford, NC), 40-31, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Vance Charter Knights (Henderson, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 13. Roxboro Community will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record.
