In Monday's non-league contest, the host Thomas Heyward Academy Rebels basketball team scored a close 19-13 triumph over the Patrick Henry Academy Patriots.
The Rebels (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Colleton Prep Academy (Walterboro, SC). The War Hawks go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Colleton Prep Academy was tipped by Calhoun Academy (St. Matthews, SC), 43-19, in a non-league contest.
