North Carolina High School Basketball - Jackson Day fells Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy

The Jackson Day Mariners basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy Eagles to 48 in the Mariners league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mariners now have a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bradford Prep for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 10. Jackson Day will confront a Bears team coming off a 63-50 non-league loss to SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC). The Bears record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy drops to 1-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC) to clash with the Patriots in a Catawba River 1A/2A/3A outing on Wednesday, December 17. The Patriots enter the outing with a record of 7-2.
