The Brighton Bruins (Rochester, NY) basketball knocked off the host Vertus Warriors (Rochester, NY), 59-50 in Tuesday's non-league test.

Next, the Bruins encounter the Webster Thomas Titans (Webster, NY) in a Section 5 Monroe 2 test, on Friday, December 19. Brighton will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record.

The Warriors (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Franklin (Rochester, NY). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Franklin fell by Wilson Magnet (Rochester, NY), 80-56, in a league bout.
