Santa Fe Trail Chargers (Carbondale, KS) backers went home thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball team tip the visiting Kansas City Christian School Panthers (Prairie Village, KS), 63-61 in a non-league contest.

The Chargers (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lebo (Lebo, KS). The Wolves go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Lebo nipped West Franklin (Pomona, KS), 67-45, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the West Franklin Falcons (Pomona, KS) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 11. Kansas City Christian School will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 67-45 non-league loss to Lebo (Lebo, KS).
