The Sequoyah Chiefs basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting McMinn Central Chargers to 42 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Chiefs now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Loudon for a 3A District 5 game on Friday, December 12. Sequoyah will clash with a Redskins squad coming off a 84-59 league loss to Alcoa (Alcoa, TN). The Redskins record now stands at 6-3.

The Chargers (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Polk County (Benton, TN). The Wildcats come into the non-league test with a 4-2 record.
