The Watertown Purple Tigers basketball team (Watertown, TN), was topped 47-33 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting Smith County Owls (Carthage, TN)

The Owls (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Gordonsville (Gordonsville, TN). The Tigers enter the non-league match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Gordonsville thwarted Merrol Hyde Magnet (Hendersonville, TN), 71-56, in a league match.

The Purple Tigers now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monterey for a non-league match on Friday, December 12. Watertown will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 46-35 non-league loss to Sequatchie County (Dunlap, TN). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-8.
