California High School Basketball - Mercy defeats Basis Independent Silicon Valley

December 9, 2025: San Jose, CA 95126

The Mercy Bears (Burlingame, CA) basketball were winner over the host Basis Independent Silicon Valley Bobcats (San Jose, CA), 45-25 in Tuesday's non-league test.

Next, the Bears encounter the Drew Dragons (San Francisco, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 13. Mercy will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Dragons come into the test with a 0-4 record after their 54-18 non-league loss to Burlingame (Burlingame, CA).

The Bobcats (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Oakwood (Morgan Hill, CA). The Hawks come into the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Oakwood gained a win over Granada Islamic School (Santa Clara, CA), 48-20, in a non-league bout.
