In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting West Greene Buffaloes basketball team scored a big 53-29 triumph over the Chuckey-Doak Black Knights.

The Buffaloes (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against South Greene (Greeneville, TN). The Rebels go into the 2A District 1 contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, South Greene Unicoi County (Erwin, TN), 52-52, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Black Knights confront the Happy Valley Warriors (Elizabethton, TN) in a 2A District 1 contest, on Friday, December 12. Chuckey-Doak will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 3-5 record after their 48-41 league loss to Johnson County (Mountain City, TN).
