The St. Monica Academy Crusaders (Montrose, CA) basketball edged the host The Palmdale Aerospace Academy Griffins (Palmdale, CA), 58-51 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Crusaders (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Faith Baptist (Canoga Park, CA). The Contenders come into the Heritage challenge with a 1-8 record. In their last challenge, Faith Baptist was tipped by Desert Christian (Lancaster, CA), 38-29, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Griffins encounter the Vasquez Mustangs (Acton, CA) in a Heritage challenge, on Saturday, December 13. The Palmdale Aerospace Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 37-15 non-league win over Grace (Simi Valley, CA).
