The Union Bears (Big Stone Gap, VA) basketball edged the visiting Twin Springs Titans (Nickelsville, VA), 52-46 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Bears now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Honaker for a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 10. Union will play a Tigers team coming off a 65-49 non-league loss to George Wythe (Wytheville, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Twin Springs falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Titans host Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 10.
