The Richland Rams ice hockey team (Johnstown, PA), was nipped 4-3 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Montour Spartans (McKees Rocks, PA)

The Spartans (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA). The Big Macs enter the PIHL Class A Blue battle with a 10-2 record. In their last battle, Canon-McMillan nipped North Catholic (Cranberry Township, PA), 3-2, in a league battle.

The Rams now possess a 1-10 record. They play next when they host Blackhawk for a PIHL Class A Blue battle on Tuesday, December 16. Richland will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 5-3 league win over Indiana (Indiana, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 8-2.
