California High School Basketball - Corning can't hold off Red Bluff

Red Bluff Spartans (Red Bluff, CA) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Corning Cardinals (Corning, CA), 50-43 in a non-league contest.

The Spartans (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Las Plumas (Oroville, CA). The Thunderbirds go into the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Las Plumas was tipped by Corning (Corning, CA), 45-38, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cardinals face the Yreka Miners (Yreka, CA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 11. Corning will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Miners enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 50-38 non-league win over Gridley (Gridley, CA).
