The Lewis Mills Spartans basketball team (Burlington, CT), was nudged 56-49 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Berlin Redcoats (Berlin, CT)
The Redcoats now possess a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Goodwin Tech for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 2. Berlin will confront a Gladiators team coming off a 63-31 non-league win over Grasso Tech (Groton, CT). The Gladiators record now stands at 6-4.
The Spartans (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Litchfield (Litchfield, CT). The Cowboys come into the non-league battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, Litchfield edged Gilbert (Winsted, CT), 67-36, in a league battle.
