The Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Douglass Astros (Atlanta, GA), 68-45 in Tuesday's league test.
The Patriots (19-3) will now prepare for their test against Westminster (Atlanta, GA). The Wildcats go into the AAA Region 5 test with a 9-10 record. In their last test, Westminster was trounced by Salem (Conyers, GA), 46-35, in a league test.
The Astros now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they host Salem for a AAA Region 5 test on Friday, February 4. Douglass will encounter a Seminoles squad coming off a 46-35 league win over Westminster (Atlanta, GA). The Seminoles record now stands at 17-4.
