The Lingleville Cardinals (Lingleville, TX) basketball crushed the host Gorman Panthers (Gorman, TX), 57-22 in Tuesday's league test.
The Cardinals (16-10) will now prepare for their test against Strawn (Strawn, TX). The Greyhounds go into the 1A Region III District 19 test with a 10-2 record. In their last test, Strawn walloped Bluff Dale (Bluff Dale, TX), 79-66, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they travel to Gordon for a 1A Region III District 19 test on Saturday, February 5. Gorman will encounter a Longhorns squad coming off a 70-33 league loss to Huckabay (Stephenville, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 8-7.
