The Weehawken Indians basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Hasbrouck Heights Aviators to 34 in the Indians non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Arlington for a North Jersey - Meadowlands B contest on Thursday, February 3. Weehawken will meet a Vikings team coming off a 87-31 league loss to St. Mary (Rutherford, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 1-8.
The Aviators (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Wood-Ridge (Wood-Ridge, NJ). The Blue Devils enter the North Jersey - Division 5 contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Wood-Ridge ran past Wallington (Wallington, NJ), 68-55, in a league contest.
