The Pembroke Spartans (Pembroke, NH) basketball nipped the visiting Kingswood Knights (Wolfeboro, NH), 56-54 in Tuesday's league test.

The Spartans (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Merrimack Valley (Penacook, NH). The The Pride go into the Division II test with a 4-9 record. In their last test, Merrimack Valley got by Stark (Weare, NH), 52-41, in a league test.

The Knights now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Bow for a Division II test on Friday, February 4. Kingswood will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 54-42 league loss to Coe-Brown Academy (Northwood, NH). The Falcons record now stands at 7-7.
