In Tuesday's league outing, the Ouachita Parish Lions (Monroe, LA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host West Ouachita Chiefs (West Monroe, LA), by a count of 76-46.
The Lions (19-6) will now prepare for their outing against Ruston (Ruston, LA). The Bearcats go into the 5A District 2 match with a 19-4 record. In their last match, Ruston crushed Pineville (Pineville, LA), 57-37, in a league match.
