Ohio High School Basketball - Portsmouth West knocked off by Valley

The Valley Indians basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Portsmouth West Senators to 51 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oak Hill for a Southern Ohio II contest on Friday, February 4. Valley will meet a Oaks team coming off a 58-49 league loss to Wheelersburg (Wheelersburg, OH). The Oaks record now stands at 8-12.
The Senators (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Northwest (McDermott, OH). The Mohawks enter the Southern Ohio II contest with a 10-12 record. In their last contest, Northwest was defeated by South Webster (South Webster, OH), 44-31, in a league contest.
