The Richwood Rams (Monroe, LA) basketball nipped the host Union Parish Farmers (Farmerville, LA), 56-55 in Tuesday's league test.
The Rams (10-11) will now prepare for their test against Sterlington (Sterlington, LA). The Panthers go into the 3A District 2 test with a 12-13 record. In their last test, Sterlington was tipped by Wossman (Monroe, LA), 79-33, in a league test.
The Farmers now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Carroll for a 3A District 2 test on Friday, February 4. Union Parish will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 53-45 league win over Neville (Monroe, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-11.
