South Medford Panthers (Medford, OR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Roseburg Indians (Roseburg, OR), 82-63 in a league bout.

With the victory, South Medford upgrades its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Sheldon (Eugene, OR) to play the Irish in a 6A Southwest bout on Friday, February 4. The Irish come into the bout with a record of 5-10. Sheldon lost 59-54 in their recent league bout against South Eugene (Eugene, OR)

Next up, the Indians play the Grants Pass Cavemen (Grants Pass, OR) in a 6A Southwest bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Roseburg will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Cavemen come into the bout with a 3-11 record after their 52-48 non-league loss to Marshfield (Coos Bay, OR).
