The Central Eagles basketball team (Pageland, SC), was overwhelmed 71-15 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Buford Yellowjackets (Lancaster, SC)
The Yellowjackets now possess a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Andrew Jackson for a AA Region 4 contest on Friday, February 4. Buford will meet a Volunteers team coming off a 61-26 league win over North Central (Kershaw, SC). The Volunteers record now stands at 15-3.
The Eagles (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against York Prep (Rock Hill, SC). The Patriots enter the AA Region 4 contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, York Prep triumphed over Cheraw (Cheraw, SC), 52-43, in a league contest.
