The Central Hawks (Talbotton, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Stewart County Royal Knights (Lumpkin, GA), 74-17 in Tuesday's league test.
The Hawks (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Macon County (Montezuma, GA). The Bulldogs go into the A Public Region 5 test with a 6-14 record. In their last test, Macon County was trounced by Chattahoochee County (Cusseta, GA), 47-41, in a league test.
The Royal Knights now own a 2-17 record. They play next when they travel to Marion County for a A Public Region 5 test on Wednesday, February 2. Stewart County will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 64-38 non-league loss to Greenville (Greenville, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-14.
