The Chilton Pirates basketball team scored 35 points and restricted the visiting Meyer Ravens to 25 in the Pirates league victory on Tuesday.
The Pirates now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rosebud-Lott for a 2A Region III District 17 contest on Friday, February 4. Chilton will battle a Cougars team coming off a 50-39 league win over Meyer (Waco, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 6-16.
The Ravens (9-14) will now prepare for their contest against Bosqueville (Waco, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 2A Region III District 17 contest with a 18-4 record. In their last contest, Bosqueville prevailed over Bruceville-Eddy (Eddy, TX), 61-23, in a league contest.
